IV. Welcome and Report from Executive Officer (P. Auter)
- Now that we are R1, we have a different set of peers. We can consult policies from other R1 schools to upgrade our own, like how to increase diversity in faculty and students.
- Executive Committee started looking at Handbook policies and issues.
- Task Force possible for State Gov effort at attacking tenure. Lots of groups already monitoring this attempt.

- Auter proposes that we could move into a Committee of the Whole to discuss the Handbook issues more openly.
- Motion to move into Committee of the Whole (Berkeley, Hazelwood) 38 approve, no opposed.

- DeRouen: McKinney should announce request for university committee interests for next year, so keep your eyes open.
