Faculty Senate AY 24-25 Meeting Schedule

“A regular meeting of the Senate shall be held each month of the year from September through April, with the exception of December…” “This schedule shall be included on the agenda circulated before the September meeting and shall become effective after it is accepted by a majority vote of those voting at the September meeting.” (https://facultysenate.louisiana.edu/constitution#ARTVI)

Per tradition, meetings will be held on or near the third Wednesday of the month. 3:30 PM Rap Session with the Provost or other guests. 4:00–5:30 PM regular meeting. Specific dates will be dependent upon the university calendar. (https://registrar.louisiana.edu/registration/academic-calendar)

Meeting format to be determined by a vote of the faculty senate if quorum is met. Format for AY 25-26 will be discussed at April meeting and may be voted on at that time. Per the constitution, schedule will be discussed at last meeting of AY 24-25, and September 2025 meeting set. Remainder of AY 25-26 schedule will be voted on at September meeting.
